What is it for?

The best way to comprehensively understand your buyer’s purchasing behavior is this. It shows the performance of the category, segment, or brand compared to another period, taking into account each of the variables that make up sales.

The structure of the sale depends on how many people buy the product, how often they do it, with what intensity, and at what price.

How to read the information?

Independent variables:

Penetration: It is the percentage of users in relation to a specific universe that buy the selected product.

Universe: It is the user base corresponding to the segment, category, retailer, vertical, or total of Rappi.

Frequency: It is the average number of times a user makes a purchase.

Volume per order: Average quantity of selected products taken in each purchase.

Average Ticket: Expenditure on the selected product per purchase.

Dependent variables:

Gross Sales: Total volume multiplied by price.

Average Price: Total sales value divided by volume.

Volume: Buyers multiplied by volume per buyer.

Volume per buyer: Volume per order multiplied by purchase frequency.

Spending per buyer: Average ticket multiplied by purchase frequency.
